Bright Futures Scholarships Terms and Conditions

  • Scholarships are reviewed and awarded on a first-in-first-served basis until the total scholarship funding allocated has been consumed.
  • The student must apply for a programme and provide all supporting documents to be eligible for a scholarship.
  • The scholarship does not cover any course-related costs, travel, accommodation, or any other costs incurred by the student during the period of study.
  • The tuition fees scholarship is not redeemable for cash or any other form of substitution.
  • The scholarship is non-transferrable to any other provider in case of a course closure or any other event.
  • The scholarship ends on the end date of the enrolment period as stated on the offer of place and does not apply for any extensions to the programme or re-enrolment upon end date of the programme.
  • For a single programme, Ashton Warner Academy does not provide more than one scholarship.
  • Within a 12-month period, a scholarship recipient cannot receive more than one scholarship from Ashton Warner Academy. For instance, if a scholarship is awarded for a program that starts in June 2023, the recipient cannot receive another scholarship for a program that begins between June 2023 and May 2024 with Ashton Warner Academy.
  • Receiving one scholarship does not guarantee additional scholarship grants. Each scholarship application is evaluated based on its merits and is subject to a contestable pool of scholarship funds.
  • Scholarship applications must be submitted only when applying for a program for the first time. Students who are already enrolled in a program of study cannot apply for a scholarship when transitioning to different parts or courses of a program.
  • Scholarships cannot be combined with any other promotional schemes.
  • Advertised scholarships are available only for program intakes that commence after 01 April 2023.
  • Scholarships will cover the entire duration of the program. If the program runs from 2023 to 2024, a scholarship will be granted for the entire program. The recipient only needs to apply once to receive a scholarship for the full program.
  • Scholarship recipients who enrol in a program must complete their studies. Students who do not complete their studies after receiving a scholarship will be ineligible to apply for or receive another scholarship.
  • On compassionate grounds, transfer of scholarship funds to another intake may be approved through a written request to the Academic Director. All requests are considered on a case-by-case basis, and re-enrollment must occur within 12 months of the request.
  • During the application process, you may be required to provide personal information to verify your identity as part of your application process. The information required may vary depending on the scholarship you are applying for.
  • When evaluating the scholarship application’s outcome, Ashton Warner Academy may request additional supporting documentation.
  • Ashton Warner Academy reserves the right to withdraw the scholarships.
